Period Sex

Hey there lovely ladies! I hope everyone’s doing great! I have a situation I’m not sure how to react to, my boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a month but we’ve been dating for a few before then, we didn’t have sex until we made it official in August and we don’t do it often because we don’t exactly have a place to since we both live with our parents. This weekend we’re going away to October freight and will be able to get freaky but it looks like I’ll be getting my period and being that we’ve never done it while on my period I asked him how he felt about it and he said he’s not a big fan which is understandable because who wants blood everywhere, but I know it’s not as bad as everyone thinks. So today he asked me if I got my period yet and I said not yet but if I don’t get it before Wednesday we can’t do anything and i joked and said “unless you can just imagine it’s Red lube” and he said “lmao that’s nasty” should I read into this as he’s not okay with this natural thing? Should I be upset he’s not more open to it? Or should I just let it go? We’re both in our 20s so it’s not like he’s a teenager that still believes in cooties. What are your thoughts?
