10w 4d appointment today

So I had my second appointment today. Previously, I have only had blood work and a pelvic exam. No ultrasound.

Today the dr comes in and tried to find the heartbeat with a Doppler, but was unable to. He proceeded to do a pelvic exam. He said he could feel my uterus. And that it felt about 10-11w.

Has anyone else not been able to find heartbeat at the 10 week mark? I am stressing out. 😩

I have to wait until my next appointment to have an ultrasound. I just don't know that I can wait another month to hear the heartbeat without having a mental breakdown from the anxiety. I just want to know that this is normal.
