Baby in the right position?

I am feeling frustrated because my doctor doesn't check in what position is my baby. I am in the week 37. But I think he doesn't care if she is or not in the position at the end.. c section is always the easiest.. I got the 3D and I know she is head down.. but not yet in the right side.. is your doctor checking in each appointment what is the position of your baby?

They don’t check each appointment because babies move all the time. Generally if baby is head down by 35 weeks they should stay head down most of the time. Most of the time doctors can tell by how labor goes whether or not there is an issue. If an issue arises they’ll check.

Babies are going to move. Unless you’re in labor, I don’t see the point in checking position.

My first baby, my doctor didn't check until very close to end, and he checked manually. This baby, my doctor did an ultrasound at 28-29 weeks. Baby was breech. I'm currently 31-32 weeks and fairly certain baby has moved head down. I've had two different experiences with two different doctors. You should definitely advocate for yourself and ask your doctor about it at your next appointment.

My tech says, "Head down, perfect position!" Every time I go in, she's been that way for I'd say almost 3 months.

Yeah my midwife just checks with her hand while she’s measuring me.  Maybe he can tell and hasn’t said?
