Keep the Bay Area in your thoughts

Selina

I'm not sure if this is on the national news but Napa and Sonoma Counties aka Wine County in Northern California is on fire; 20,000 acres of it are on fire with only 5% contained. The city of Santa Rosa (where Charles M Schulz creator of Charlie Brown, etc resided) has been hit the worst, entire neighborhoods are gone, an entire mall burned down as well as Kmart, Applebee's, a local Mexican restaurant and a fire station (situated elsewhere but within those two counties) are also gone as well. My high school classmate and her pets made it ok but her place burned down and her friend is missing.

We live in San Francisco which is a little over an hour drive from there and the entire city is hazy from the smoke, our place smells like a BBQ and our car was covered in ash-- in fact the entire Bay Area is the same way.

It literally looks like an inferno as if you stepped into the gates of hell. My heart hurts so bad for all those who are affected. Please keep them in your thoughts
