I have a biter 😩

My son is a biter. He has six teeth and LOVES to bite my shoulder when I'm holding him or my thighs/ toes when we're playing on the floor.

Help! These bites HURT! He breaks the skin and it startles me. My fear is that I'll drop him when he bites me while I'm holding him.

He is a very fun and loving and extremely playful and energetic little guy. But this biting hung is out of control.

Any suggestions? I tell him 'ow' and try to act hurt when he bit s me so he knows he's causing me pain and I tell him 'No' but he's so little he doesn't understand and he isn't responding to 'you hurt mommy'...
