If you are a smoker, did you pick the habit back up after LO was born or stay smoke free?

i smoked ALOT , & i cold turkey when i found out i was pregnant (which i was told I shouldn't had done bcuz its not necessarily good for my body) but anyways.. i stopped & had my baby & decided why waste 9 months of sobriety.. & i havent smoked since. & my daughter is now 13 months

I am NOT planning on resuming smoking after baby is born. honestly it grosses me out to have a smoke and then handle my baby. like, they don't deserve to smell the smoke on my hands and clothes.

I smoked cigarettes since 15 now at 19 I was maybe a pack a day. When I became pregnant I procrastinated quitting because it was hard but I did want to quit! I finally cut down to 5 a day, 3 a day, and actually quit at exactly 6 months! Let me say I feel bad for waiting so long BUT quitting smoking was better late than never. I love not being a smoker and I CAN NOT stand the smell of them now. I would never pick them back up. My baby saved my life and lowers my risk to cancer. With out her who knows how long I would have smoked?  She's mommy's purpose.

my mom was a chain smoker, quite cold turkey than started up again until i was 10. She hasn't picked one up since and ill be 28 next month. 😊

I smoked before i was pregnant and quit cold turkey as soon as i found out, it definitely helped that I couldn’t stand the smell of cigarettes in the early stages of my pregnancy. It was my intention to not go back to smoking once baby’s born but I’m now 30 weeks pregnant and I’m starting to miss it. I don’t want my baby to have to smell that awful smell on me so I’m gonna try my best to stay smoke free but I’m starting to doubt myself 😣

At ten months pp, I'm struggling not to smoke. The only thing keeping me smoke free is breastfeeding. I have a feeling once my son weans, I'll no longer be able to keep with it.
