Yesterday I was in the supermarket doing some shopping with my boyfriend and my baby. Everything was going fine until I noticed two girls, who kept looking at me, whispering and giggling. I had never seen them before so I thought nothing of it. Then all of a sudden i hear them shout “helloooo b*****” (my boyfriends name) start laughing and run off. It was like when a little 10 year old calls their crush in the playground. You could tell they did it purposely and immaturely to try and piss me off. They obviously saw my boyfriend with me and our son and thought “let’s piss her off”. Well it worked. I got angry and started blaming my boyfriend and cussing them out. I asked who they were and he said girls he had chilled with when we weren’t together. I know it’s true because he doesn’t have a phone, we live together and he only goes to work and back so it can’t be girls he’s talking to now. I was going to confront them but my mom (who was also with me) talked me out of it. Eventually when I calmed down I obviously knew it wasn’t my boyfriends fault. I was just pissed at the time. But I can’t seem to let it go. It’s not that my boyfriend knew them, we weren’t even together at the time. The thing that’s irritating me the most is the fact that I was just trying to do shopping with my family and I have to deal with immature little girls like that. I think how angry I got I definitely overreacted. Do you think I overreacted? How would you have reacted?
