Stopping Birth Control

So I just recently stopped taking my BC and it's my second day off of them and I've started bleeding. I know that's normal but only thing is im having to wear super sized tampons that are supposed to last up to 8 hours and I am bleeding through before 1 hour!!! Also lots of clotting. Is this something I should go to the doctor about? Or is it normal!? Please let me know if you have the same issue or know what to do! It's awful
