Toys???

Question

What type of toys do your little ones like best? My daughter isn't interested in her baby toys anymore and I'm struggling to find other toys she likes. We have lots of blocks, balls, baby dolls and a couple ride on toys but nothing that keeps her attention.

Play doh (supervised) and crafty toys, letter magnets that we stick on the lower part of the fridge and his closet, wooden toddler puzzles, Little People brand toys that start to encourage creative play and imagination. The brand Fat Brain has a bunch of fun age appropriate stuff to challenge them.

Thanks for the feedback :-) we are planning on buying her a play kitchen for Christmas and I'll have to look into more magnets, she loves the ones we have. We also take out lots of board books from the library. I'm contemplating buying a plastic play structure and using it inside during the winter, am I crazy? She loves climbing but I'm worried that might encourage it too much.

Books are probably my daughter’s favorite thing. She has an insane amount of board books. She also likes anything with multiple pieces, (nothing she can choke on of course) like her wooden puzzles, stacking cups and rings, blocks, etc. She has this carry along Elmo case thing with the letters of the alphabet that pop out like a puzzle as well. She really likes putting things together and taking them apart basically. She also enjoys the ball pit I made her, which is just a small inflatable pool with a lot of plastic balls.

My girl loves her books, and her kitchen. You can teach her new ways to pretend, putting baby doll to sleep or feeding her. We do crayons outside. She really loves "grown up" things, like climbing in her chair. I think it's pretty normal at this age to not have a long attention span, but my girl runs around to her different toys while I work, but when I stop to show her something new she will really take off with it.
