Glucose test! What can I eat??

So my glucose is at 2:00 PM today it is now 10:42 AM I was wondering what could I eat. It’s possible that I could eat Stouffers mac & cheese?

The point of the one hour test is to see what your sugar looks like based on your daily life. So eat whatever you would normally eat. Don't change your habits and try and cheat the test. Worst case scenario you fail and need the three hour which is done after fasting.

Low carbs and low sugar. Think meat and veggies. 
The day of my test I had turkey bacon, two eggs, and ONE piece of rye toast. My doctor gave me the ok on the toast because it only had 1g sugar. You could call your doctors office and ask them what to eat, they were helpful to me :) I passed by the way.

I have a huge family history of diabetes, on both sides. 
The day of my glucose testing, I could only keep down chocolate chip cookies. I also forgot that on that day I was going to do this test. My sugars came back fine. I would suggest eating like you normally do. If you usually eat pasta, I’d have it. I feel like if you eat just veggies (if you’re normally not a veggie eater) before the test it’s “cheating”. You want an acquire reading. This is just my personal opinion though.

My doctor said eat low sugar. Those noodles are carbs, which break down into sugar, so I’d avoid that.

I'd stay away from high carbs for the day, eat protein and veggies. You're gonna consume sugar, if your body is processing sugar (carbs) already it can escalate your numbers.

As someone with gestational diabetes, I can only tell you that pasta have a lot of carbs and contribute to a higher glucose in the blood. But I think this is only bad if you have diabetes. I don't think it has that much effect on you if you dont have it. I would suggest drinking lots of water with the meal :p 
Other than that, I thought that you needed to fast before glucose tests? Anyways!
