Does anyone know what this means?

My wife and I used a donor September 8th, and my last period was August 15th. Monday, October 2nd, I started bleeding but it wasn’t like a “normal” period, and completely missed September. Normally 1-3 days before I start my period, I get lower back pain and my breast become sensitive, that didn’t happen. It was very light, then medium, then back and would almost go away and come back a little bit...normally I’m heavy the first 2 days and then normal until I lighten up on the 5th-7th day. Have done 3 pregnancy tests and all came back negative. I’m really hoping I won’t have to take another donation, and am hopeful that because of how irregular the bleeding was that I am pregnant and my hcg level just isn’t showing on tests. My family doctor, who isn’t an OB-GYN, said she thinks it’s PCOS, because of this being the one time that my period has ever done this.

Has anyone else experienced this? What did it mean for you? I’m just looking for answers.
