Your mil knows that red hair/blue eyes is THE rarest combo in the world, right? Something like 1% of the worlds population has that combination lol.

My daughter was born with red hair and blue eyes. Her hair fell out and quickly turned to a sandy blonde though. She got this from my moms side of the family, and it's common for the red to fall out. 
I can definitely see why this is annoying though!
To me, the most annoying thing is everyone speculating why my daughter has blonde hair and blue eyes 🙄 I have hazel eyes and brown hair, my husband has brown hair and brown eyes.
His dad however (and half his aunts and uncles) have blonde hair and blue eyes.
My mom and three of my siblings have blonde hair and blue eyes. It's so common for that recessive gene to show up. But my inlaws talk about it as if implying it's not normal, also implying I may have been unfaithful. Even though I have only ever been with my husband but okay 😂
Inlaws just have annoying comments. I wish they'd just shut up sometimes.

My mother in law is always talking about having a blue eyed granddaughter granted we gave her one but that’s all she comments on are her blue eyes. Like my kid had a choice in the matter.... geez just be happy you got one 🙄 Now she’s wanting twin grandkids... I think not

You have every right to be annoyed, that's for sure! My mom won't stop asking me to name my baby after her- even though we already chose a name, and we don't want to name our children after people who are still alive. 🙄

Lol. Right?! 😂 I mean it will be a blue eyed baby, or a 1% chance of green since my hubs and I have blue eyes, but girl is a 50% chance and red is like. 1-3% chance (even though it is in both our families) and curly is like a 50% or less chance... it's all over my family and I have it and hubs has wavy....
