Nipple piercing swollen?

My nipples piercings are 3 weeks old. And they started doing this about 2 days ago. This was right after my shower so it's significantly less swollen. But does it look like the skin is trying to swallow to piercing? I might just be freaking out cause I keep reading horror stories about nipple piercings...but let me know what y'all think!!!

Looks like you need a longer barbell. Go to the piercer and ask if they can give you one

Yes, I’d try a longer bar until they’re healed.

I would say the bar is too small and the swelling of your nipple as it try’s to heal is effectively swallowing the piercing. Try putting a longer bar in and continue cleaning with saline solution 3x a day for 2 weeks and then once a day for 3 weeks and then finally every few days and so on until fully healed which will be anywhere between 6-12 months
