When you have your belly measured are you measuring behind, right on, or ahead?

For example I am 32 weeks and my doctor measured me at 33 cm with baby #3. (Measured from top of uterus to pelvic bone). Also did this have an effect on delivering early or late with previous pregnancies for you? Thanks ladies!!

My doctor told me it is normal to measure 2cm ahead or behind in centimeters. I always measure a cm ahead of the weeks I am.

I was measuring one ahead for a bit but this last appointment, I measured 2 ahead.

I am on baby #3 and measuring 3 weeks ahead. My midwife said it is normal, as your uterus is doing its thing because it knows from previous pregnancies. She said not to worry ad it is normal. we had an ultrasound at 27 weeks and baby is measuring in the 50th percentile.

Bump measurements don't seem to be accurate as each person that does them may have a slightly different way of measuring. 
At 28 weeks I was over the 95th centile, I had another measurement at 30weeks and my bump apparently hadn't grown. The midwife said I had a really small bump.  
They sent me for an ultrasound and baby was spot on the 50th centile. 
I'm taking future bump measurements with a pinch of salt, ultrasound is much more reliable but unfortunately they don't offer that as standard in the UK unless your don't follow the centile

My first pregnancy I measured right on and she was born a few days early. This pregnancy i just found out I’m measuring almost 2 weeks ahead. My Midwife didn’t seem concerned

my belly has measured quite a bit behind for awhile, but she has measured right on track. I have an anterior placenta and she's sitting farther back, so my doctor hasn't been worried.
