Who on here is using a normal digital thermometer?

I am asking this question because I went to the pharmacy today to buy a basal thermometer, they didn’t have them but was told that they are the same as normal digital thermometers?? I used normal one this morning got 36.4, I’m 4dpo. Are they okay to use?

I got mine on amazon for $12. You should have two decimal places.

if you're measuring in Fahrenheit the second decimal place isn't as important to have (1/10 of a degree is Fahrenheit isn't as drastic as 1/10 of a degree in Celsius). example 36.1 C= 96.98 F and 36.2 C= 97.16 F
it might not be quite as specific as a thermometer that reads in 1/100 of a degree, but it will work if it's your only option.
