My SO says they are a part of life and there’s no sense in being ashamed of them. It’s natural from motherhood and he said he loves my body regardless

my scars and stretch marks used to really bother me, like REALLY affecting my self esteem... my husband noticed it bothered me and he literally said "its just part of mommy" and wrapped his arms around me to hug me. (we call each other mommy and daddy as you would in reference with your children, its not sexual in any way, just a pet name like baby or honey).... I asked if he was sure and he said " I have seen you as a tiny little 15 year old girl and watched you mature into my beautiful wife and the loving mother of two kids...I have seen your soul torn apart by the loss of our child and watched you rebuild yourself from the inside out in order to carry on with life, every mark on you is a battle scar that reminds me we have been through hell, that life has thrown its worst at us and in the end it just made you stronger. those scars are part of you and I love what they represent, you have nothing to worry about... ever... so please, don't dwell on something so small.".....  he has never turned me down because of my scars, fat rolls, stretch marks, or any other imperfection... if a man loves you, they won't even notice....

My husband says they don’t bother him at all, he says he never even notices them. I have a lot lol. I honestly think he’s being sincere.

All I have is pregnancy stretch marks, he did this to me so I say he loves them and I asked him, he said well I did those to you and we are getting a beautiful baby out of the whole thing... IM REALLY HAPPY TO HEAR HIM SAY THIS...
