Spotting?!

I'm bleeding/spotting about 10 DPO. what does that mean? AF "should" be in about 5 days?

I am the same, bleeding/spotting started yesterday at 10dpo and AF due in 4 days. I’ve had all the usual cramping so I just suspect its and random short cycle 😔 baby dust to you!

Could be implantation bleeding. if it is brown or pink and doesn't fill a pantyliner in 24 hours and is off and on with minimal to no cramps anywhere between 6 and 12 days past ovulation then that there is implantation bleeding. Durations vary but the most common is 1 hour to 3 days. You can have it for up to a month. A third of pregnant women will experience this. You should be able to test four days after the spotting has stopped and recurve at the very least a faint positive. If it is negative do not get discouraged. Simply continue testing every two days until it is either positive or you get your period. Wondfo tests are $9 on Amazon for a pack of 25. If your spotting continues past a month or your period is more than two weeks late consult your gynecologist on the best course of action. You may need to make an appointment and test hormone levels. If you receive a positive notify your gynecologist and make a prenatal workup appointment. You should confirm the pregnancy with a blood test and track your hcg levels. Always ask for a quantitative test as this tracks your levels and is more accurate meanwhile a qualitative only says yes or no. Do not get discouraged if the urine test at the office is negative. Their tests are not as sensitive as hots and can often bare false negatives. Simply ask for a blood test confirmation. Once a viable pregnancy is confirmed they should give you a prenatal workup which includes a papsmear, a check on hormone levels like progesterone, a estimation on how far along the pregnancy is and if your hcg is high enough you may recurve receive an ultrasound. You should then receive an 8 week and 13 week appointment for checkups and ultrasounds and after that you should receive a 20 week for sexing the baby and occasional appointments throughout the pregnancy.
