Who’s in your delivery room?

With my first child, I was 24 terrified totally unplanned and best friends with my mom at the time so she came into the delivery room. This second time; it’s 8 years later, I’m married, I’m feeling pretty good about going into labor and we want just the two of us. Total joint decision not a “his decision” but my mom got super sad. 
Who are you having in your delivery room? Did it change from child to child?

My husband and my sister. My mother-in-law has her own special place for the birth of all of her grandchildren, she chose it herself, she stays home with the older children and cleans the house the so baby and momma don't have any stress when they get home. It's kind of her way of feeling important and it is so appreciated, especially since my mother isn't in my life.

It has always been, and will always be, just my husband. Maybe she needs to be reminded that this is his child, and it sounds like she was there for the first one because maybe there wasn't a father involved for the first?

I’m pregnant with my first, but I’m having my SO, my mom, my grandma, and my cousin all in the room. Seems like a lot but that’s who I want there and who’d id be most comfortable with

My first I had my mother in law and my aunt. My husband was in jail at the time. This time it's gonna be just me and my husband.

I’m due in March and as of right now it will only be me, my fiancé, and my medical team. My mom passed in 2012. None of my family lives in Florida, only the in laws and I don’t really want any hospital visitors. My fiancé is on board with just us in the delivery room.

I'm pregnant with my first and I'll definitely have my husband in the room and hopefully my mom. She's had a lot of medical issues this past year so I'm not relying on her being there just in case she's not healthy enough. But I really want her to be there if she can.

first baby i was just 22 single and had my sister and mom in the room. fast forward to when i was 30, also with a new partner . i only wanted him and i in the room, and thats what we did. it was the best choice. i love how it went.

At first I wanted my SO and both of our moms. But since I’m due close to Christmas, my mom won’t be down for the birth (she lives 12 hours away). And his mom has recently been getting on my nerves so it’s just going to be us 2 in the delivery room 🙃
