can u re-produce breat milk?

can i re-produce my breast milk after 2 months of not breastfeeding? i have a 2 and a half month old baby girl i cldnt breastfeed her due to medical consitions. can i make my breastmilk comeback?? i still hv some when i squeeze them so if i get her to take it will i produce an enough amount??

if you still have some when you squeeze i would say put the baby on the breast. also if you pump it will help your supply go up. good luck. it is possible =)

A friend of mine was telling me recently that when she adopted her daughter 3 years after her son was born, she pumped and got her supply back so her daughter could nurse from her!

It is possible to get your supply back up with frequent pumping and/or nursing. This will send the message to your brain that your body needs to produce more milk because there is a demand for it.
