Hi all! My baby is 6 weeks old and has been showing signs of constipation. He goes about once a day and the last almost week it’s been coming out very hard at first but then loose after the initial stool. My pediatrician recommended pear juice mixed with water and we’ve been doing that for about a week. Below is what every bowel movement has looked like. Any other suggestions? He’s on enfamil Gentlease which she said was good for his tummy. I just hate to see him straining so hard. Also used the rectal thermometer to help get things moving for him. That seems to work.
