Is this normal? Is something wrong with me? ☹️

I’m 20 and since I got my period at 12 my cycle length has been 26-28 days. Since I’ve stopped birth control completely and started TTC my cycle length changes every month from 28-31 days.. is it normal for your CD to change every month or would that be considered as irregular? I’m starting to think something is wrong with me.. since June my boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex almost every day every month including during my fertile week and nothing ever happens.. I get periods every month.. I never miss a month. He has two girls already so I feel like it’s me that can’t make a baby 😭💔

It is normal for there to be some variation, a three day variation is totally fine. It can take a healthy couple a year of trying before they even need to worry about issues. Unfortunately, it doesn't always happen as quickly as it does in the movies. If you want to be proactive, you can try tracking your ovulation to make sure you are having sex at the right time each month to get pregnant.

After i stopped the pill to try for my first child it took 15 months to get pregnant, hang in there it will happen, with my second it has taken me 9 months.

Birth control can definitely mess up your cycle.. with that being said, I would not consider your's irregular. From what I understand, it should be a larger fluctuation for it to be considered irregular. And honey, I'm sure there's nothing wrong with you! It can take even the healthiest of couples [an average of] up to you 1 year to conceive. Good luck honey.
