Sushi issues

Ladies, I’m having an issue... I absolutely LOVE sushi, and now that I’m pregnant I have to stay away from it... I think... my first question is just that. Do I really have to stay away from sushi? Like I can’t eat the raw tuna right? But could I eat a California roll and a veggie roll? Has anyone else ate sushi while pregnant?

I am supposed to go to dinner with my mom tonight and she picked sushi of course. I haven’t told her about the pregnancy, but when we go, she’s going to know something is up when I don’t order my regular things. How do I handle this!!? It’s going to be weird even saying “oh not sushi tonight.” I’ve never said that before. Should I just tell her I’m pregnant? I’m 7 weeks... has anyone else told their parents this early? I’m just so nervous!! I’m not married and she’s strict on marriage then kids... :( I hope she accepts this whole thing I guess..
