period confusion

So I went to the hospital about two months ago because I was bleeding heavely ..i was not suppose to get my period for another 2 and a half weeks so I wasn't sure why i was bleeding so much or at all for that matter, so I go there and he tells me that with everything I told him he thinks I miscarried.. that this is my body resetting itself and I should take this as me having my period and this is my new cycle now . So after that 2 weeks later I start bleeding again and have a full period then 2 weeks after that I have another one and then another 2 weeks and I get it again. So last Thursday it ended and I just went ped and wiped and there's blood .. wtf is going on? does anyone else ever get there period 2 times a month. I'm not sue to get my period till the 31st and I just got it tonight
