Do you think?
Do you think when someone sees a tragedy and they cry, they are doing it out of remorse or out of fear that that could have been them? It could have been their leg amputated, their baby missing, or their dead cat.
Is it a “that could have been me” thing? Or a genuine remorse thing?
(I can’t remember where I heard this but it makes sense to me)
