Do you think religion should be forced on minors?

Please explain your answer, and examples. 
   
(This question stems from learning about children in Scientology)

Nope. 
They shouldn't. I mean, taking them to church or something as a small child isn't forcing them. But when they are old enough to say they don't want to go, let them choose. 
I was forced to go to church every Sunday twice and once on Wednesday and I hated it the entire time. I also had to attend church camps every summer and had no choice in that. I begged my mom to let me stay home. Nope, i had zero choice in it. 
Oh my god, even in my 20s i am so happy I never have to go to church again.  No amount of church changed that.

I have NO issues to you introducing your child to Christianity or any religion (the exception being extremist 'religions' and Scientology). I have a problem when your child is obviously not into religion and do not want to be a part of it but you make them feel estranged or that they have to

Not forced. But I’ll be teaching my kids about my religion from when they’re small so they grow up knowing to follow it hopefully. And as children they’re obviously expected to come with us to meetings, and when they’re older it will be a personal decision.

Religion was forced on me. And I think most kids grow up with some type of religion that's forced, based on what your family practices. And once I grew up and was able to research and question it, I rejected everything in religion. I sought a path that worked for me an my life. I don't believe in God and Jesus is the same way I don't believe in Santa or a the tooth fairy. None of these beings existence can be proven. But my existence can, so I believe in me. If that makes sense? We won't be raising our daughter with religion.

I said no bc I don’t see me taking my children to church as forcing religion on them. They are aware there are differences in the world and as we approach new things we discuss it. They’re only 8 & 10 so they can’t choose to stay home alone yet and they can’t really choose what they believe in yet.....in my opinion. Of course I pray that they stay with my same beliefs as they get older but I can’t and won’t force them. I’d like to think we’ll have an open minded discussion if that time should ever come.

You don’t get to force a child to hold the same beliefs as you.
As a parent you can expose them to it and hope they share the same beliefs...but understand that your children are small free-thinking individuals and they will make up their own minds.
You get to say your kids must go to church with you and be polite during service, but if they don’t agree with and want to actively practice religion, then that’s a choice they should be allowed to make.

No, but I think it's perfectly fine to have them participate in religion as a family. I'm not going to hide other religions from my children, or tell them they can't practice them- if they ask I'll even give them an honest and bias explanation of other religions- but until they do choose a different one I don't see them harm in teaching them my religion, who my god is, and praying with them; in fact I only see benefits when it comes to children participating in religion if the parents are doing so in a healthy way.
