When did you tell your immediate family?

I just confirmed my pregnancy at the doctor this morning and am right around 4 weeks along.  I am planning on surprising my husband either tonight or tomorrow with our 1 1/2 year old daughter Clara (depending on when he's home).  He's a farmer and is trying to harvest.  
I am struggling to decide when to tell our immediate family.  I am going to wait until Christmas to tell our extended family and friends because I'll be almost 15 weeks then.

We’re telling immediate family after my first apt at 8 weeks. We want to make sure everything is ok.

We're telling my parents tomorrow (almost 6 weeks) and my husband's parents early November (almost 9 weeks). The difference is due to us not likely to see his parents before then and my mom being my best friend. We'll probably announce to extended family at Thanksgiving (11 weeks) since so many will be home from out of state. Won't post to social media until mid-December though.

I'm going to tell my parents and siblings when I'm 7 weeks because that's when I'll see them in person. same with my husband's mother (the day before). I'm 6 weeks now and I've known since a few days before I missed my period
