My boyfriend and I just hit 3 months.  We haven't said it though the feeling is definitely there.  I'm curious what everyone's experiences were.  If you have a romantic story to share, lucky you.  Keep it to yourself!  Kidding!!  Please share it 🤗

My story is sort of pathetic lol I said it first when we were out at a bar to see a band play and he didn't say it back! 😰 I ended up crying and our waitress consoled me. A week or so later we were out fishing and as the sun set he said it to me. We've been married nearly five years and I still bring up how big of a jerk he was about that. Lol He claims he "wasn't ready" and wanted to say it on his own time. 😑 I promise we are very happily married and he's my best friend but he was so weird about commitment and labels back then.

I honestly don't remember who said it first! That's sad. It's not even a romantic story either! Ha. My husband and I have known each other since we were 14. We were friends in high school and went on one date to a football game but just remained friends and dated other people. About four years after school he was going through a divorce and I was going through a really bad break up. We started hanging out as friends again and got really close. I remember being online one day talking to him and us exchanging I love yous (I don't even think we were dating yet) but I can't remember who said it first! Probably him but maybe me! Anyway, seven years later were married with a four year old and twins on the day. He's definitely my best friend and we tell each other we love each other at least 50 times a day.. We are definitely "that couple"

We were long distance. He came down when he had a week off in the military and visited me. We were cuddling in a hotel bed and he pulled out a promise ring and said " Haley, I love you so much and want to spend the rest of my life with you. This ring is my promise to you. Whether it be 1 year, 5 or 10, I promise that I'm going to marry you one day. No matter how long it takes."  😍 2 years later,  I made the move to Canada and we got married within 3 months.

We were together for 4 weeks before he said it. But he knew 2 weeks after meeting me and I knew about the same time. We both just too shy to say it.
