Shopping for a princess

When is the perfect time to start shopping for your baby ? This is my second and when I had my first I didn’t have to buy a thing . This time around I’m not looking towards to much extra help like I had with my first . But every time I try to buy something I get so sick of people asking “don’t you think it’s to early “ or “ your not supposed to buy stuff this early”. I’m currently 4 months pregnant. What do you moms think ? Or when did you start getting things for your little one ?
