Would you forgive him?

A while ago my boyfriend cheated on me, he kissed another girl at a party when he was drunk. He told me about it the next day but I sorta had to force it out of him then I ignored him for a day and a bit and he was trying to call me and message me saying how sorry he was and that he loves me. After a while I messaged him back and we met up and talked about things he was crying the whole time and I had to do all the talking and sort it out but I decided to forgive him because I do love him and and I know he loves me and I lost my virginity to him. He told me he only kissed her once but I found out it was more than once. And I know nothing else happened because I asked someone who went to the party if anything did and they said no it was a small party anyway. I told him if he ever cheats on me again then I would dump him straight away and I know he is really sorry. But sometimes I just think about it and do you think I made the right choice? If i wasn’t so in love with him then I wouldn’t of forgiven him but I am and ever one does make mistakes, and we haven’t been going out for a massive amount of time.
