When did move baby out of the bassinet and into his/her room, into the crib?

My daughter slept in her bassinet beside my bed until around 4 months old, and then we moved her into her crib. We still kept her in our room until she was almost 2. I plan on doing mostly the same with my son, except I really want to try to move him to his own room at around a year instead of two...we had (and still have) trouble keeping our daughter in her room all night lol. Hope to avoid that with our son.

my son was 6 weeks and it was the best decision foe us. we all slept much better.

I had the crib in our room...so she was in her crib from the beginning, but also in the same room. I'll be moving her out as soon as we move, and she will be just under 1...

I moved her to her room a few days before I returned to work, she was almost 3 months. Prior to that she would only sleep in the rock n play but she was getting too big for it so we made the switch & she slept much better...and she can stretch out now lol

Never used a crib. Co-slept until she was big enough to sleep in a toddler bed at 18 months. And had no problem with it because she was already used to sleeping in an actual bed all her life

My son was always in his crib, but it was in our room until about 5 months when he started waking up with every little sound (cough, bed squeak, whisper, etc.) then we moved him into his own room.
