Should we wait 3 months to tell our parents?

We had a chemical pregnancy in sept. I was 4-5 weeks pregnant. I'm still very upset about it. Some days are better than others. I was just talking to my husband and whenever it does happen for us, I think we should wait 3 months to tell our parents and 6 months to tell everyone else. Do you think I'm being a worry wart? It's been 1.5 years TTC for us..... 😭

We told our families early. 6 weeks. We figure any little life we are blessed with is a life worth celebrating. We asked them to keep it private until after the first trimester but we did want them to know, 1) because we were excited and loved the baby immediately 2) if something unfortunate were to happen, their support and encouragement would mean the world to us, and 3) it felt right. Do what is right for you all.

3 months is the safe period.  thats when you can feel confident to tell family, however... I would wait past the 3 months, from personal experience.  I was 14 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage.  It was devastating. Thank God I had onlt told my mom... So to be safe 4 or 5 months

its a personal decision.  we had a chemical at 4 to 5 weeks pregnant as well.  didn't tell anyone. got pregnant again 2 cycles later but waited to 12 weeks to tell our families.

It's entirely up to you. There is no safe zone. Things can happen anytime.

I think it should be when you feel the most comfortable telling people. We waited until I was 2o weeks to tell everyone but we told close family when I was 12 weeks.
