Getting pregnant after being on the pill

I’ve been on the pill on and off for about 10 years now and I recently got off of them because my husband and I are ready to start trying for a baby :) I just want to hear from other ladies on if it was harder or easier to get pregnant after being on the pill for so long. I’ve heard that for some it happens right away and for others it takes about 3 months or so of trying. Just curious to hear some experiences from other women :) thanks in advance!
