Baby boy arrived last week

They sent me home as I wasn't having contractions. They told me to come back in 12 hours if nothing changed. We arrived back at the hospital at 1:30 pm where I had to be induced. I was terrified of giving birth and didn't think I was strong enough to do it.

After awhile my contractions got very severe I asked for laughing gas as I wanted to wait till 4-5 cm dilated for the epidural. After awhile the laughing gas wasn't working as well and I had problems coping. I demanded an epidural I was only 2-3 cm dilated. After the epidural I fell asleep work up a bit later I was 10 cm and ready to push. I pushed 2 hours 40 minutes before getting a break. They said it'd be another hour and a half of pushing . I was exhausted and they decided to suction him out. My son was born April 20 at 5:49am.
