First month TTC

Ashley

This is my Husbands and I first month tcc. Im really trying just to enjoy this period in our lives but find myself stressing over every little part of this process!

Question, I had my IUD removed October 2nd. I had previously started my AF on the 30th but since I had a IUD it was short, like 1 day of just cramps. When my doctor took my IUD out 10/02, it jumped started my period again, like she said it would. So my question is do I start my calculations from my natural short period or from my period that was started due to the IUD removal?

Also, I was ovulating last week and today I have stomach cramping and light nausea. Could this be symptoms or am I making a stomach bug into a baby lol?!

Any tips and advice welcome!

Sincerely,

New to all this and stressing out!

Which IUD did you have? My doctor told me to wait until my next natural period to start calculating because the hormones in some IUDs can change your cycle pattern. If the IUD you had resulted in another period I would start your cycle tracking after that one, not the short one you had while the IUD was in place. Good luck and baby dust! ✨ ✨

Well I might have wasted a month :( but my charting will just get more accurate as time passes!

Taking out my IUD actually made me have another period a couple days later. The doctor told me here was a high chance of that happening
