What are some of your favourite tasks to give to your submissives?

I usually like setting out goal orientated tasks such as practicing using a new toy, conducting research for something or learning a new skill. Generally I give fairly open tasks with no firm rules, however I am finding with my current sub this isn't really working.

How do other ladies on here instruct and give tasks to their subs? Do you give specific rules and guidelines? Do you utilise punishment/ reward strategies? What are some of your favourite rules or tasks?
