Cloth or traditional diapers?

Debating on what I should use for my first. I’ve heard a lot from people but still haven’t been able to decide. Are the cloth reusable really that much cheaper? Or does the cleaning get old? Still undecided what I would like to use would love your advice!

I have watched a ton on of you tube videos which are super helpful and am thinking about doing both, cloth for in the home and disposable when I am on the go.  I think that will help me decide which is a better fit for our family.

I like disposable but cloth are actually the traditional diaper 😂 what do you think they use back in the day?!

I LOVE cloth diapers. My husband would never go for it, though.

I am on the fence too, so I will be renting some to try out. The Natural Baby website will rent them to you in newborn size for $75 for 6 weeks so you can try them out for a while.

We do cloth. My friends are always amazed at how easy it looks when I change my daughter.
The laundry sucked a lot at first, but now it’s not as bad because I don’t have to change her quite as frequently. She used to poop all the time and now it’s only once or twice a day. I do laundry about every 3-4 days. We have around 32 or 36 diapers or something. 
We do a disposable at night right now because little girl is a HEAVY wetter and we haven’t bought new diapers to solve that issue.

We plan on doing cloth while we are at home and use disposable while out and about. We aren't sure what we are going to do about nighttime yet. I've read that can be tricky to master with cloth and I really don't want a fussy newborn in the middle of the night because the diaper is wet. So we may do disposable at night as well, but it will depend. Good luck!!

I do majority cloth but use disposables when we’ll be away from the house for a while and also overnight since my son is a super heavy wetter. I have about 15 BumGenius Freestyles and I bought every single one used on a local cloth diapering Facebook page. I paid $6 per diaper on average! If you want to cloth diaper I highly recommend it

I’ve have used disposables for a year now and only because it’s was convenient when he was little. I didn’t have my own washer or dryer and had to go to the laundry mat. But now, if he was born this time of year and not last year, I definitely would of used them. I only have a year or less of diapering (🤞🏻) lol.

We have been alternating honest co. disposable  and G-diapers reusable I like them. the reusable hace to be changed more frequent.
