Contractions without dilation

39+3 was 3Cm 80% effaced and baby was at station zero. I got my membrane stripped yesterday at 11am started having contractions at 12:30ish contractions are 5 minutes apart but no change in dilation but have gotten softer. I’ve been having contractions now for 18 hours straight. The contractions are painful but bearable so I was sent home. Anything I can do to speed things up?
