Should I go to bfs sisters birthday?

Guys I know it’s my choice. But I need your advice. I’m afraid bc I’ve been dating him for 1 month and wants me to meet his family already. I don’t think I’m ready. Would getting her a gift and giving it to her brother be okay instead? Bc I can’t see her since she’s in school right now

I mean a month isn’t too short to meet family? At least to me. I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to meet his family.

If you truly don't feel comfortable yet (maybe you have a social anxiety or just anxiety) then it's your decision and it should be respected, do what makes you comfortable. That being said, it will have to happen eventually and I personally, though I would be anxious/nervous would see this as an opportunity to tear off the band aid or to "get it over with" so to speak!

I met my now fiancé's family on our fourth date, two weeks in. We weren't yet official and I still wasn't sure he was the one. I met his mom and my first reaction was, I don't know about him, but I want his mom for my mother-in-law!
