Does the camera go through the cervix and into the uterus? And does this hurt? I’ve never gotten one done before.

It doesn't go through your cervix and it doesn't hurt. I had them before i ever had sex and while its uncomfortable it doesn't "hurt" the worst part is when they try to get difficult angles it gets more uncomfortable. 
Its also not a "camera" its ultrasound still that uses...I believe soundwaves...just like a regular ultrasound but it gives a different perspective and can be easier for the tech to find what they are looking for depending on what they are looming for. 
Just try to relax as much as possible while they do it and it'll be over before you know it!

If you're a virgin/haven't put anything down there it will hurt bc you're "tight" or small.
