Babies, weddings and Loud Noises

Hello there fellow super moms. I’m going out of station to attend my cousins wedding. My daughter is 6.5 months old and is not at all fond of super busy and/or loud noises. I know this because the 2-3 times I went out with her. Once to a super busy McDonald’s with loud music and lots of people and another time at a noisy rushy market at night.

Since Pakistani weddings are quite loud and noisy, I’m looking for some tips to make it easier for my daughter. Currently I’m considering getting a pacifier/soother for her. She hasn’t used one her entire life but I’m hoping she’ll take to it. Sucking calms babies down. Any other tips? Ear plugs? (Half joke/half serious :p)
