Pregnant or false alarm?

My body is sending me wacky signals! Three days ago I had some brown spotting/discharge and thought it may be implantation bleeding. (Yay!) But today my discharge is more like raw egg whites like it would be on my peak fertile days...

FRER was negative yesterday. Period is due in 7 more days.

Anyone have similar experiences? Could I be pregnant? Is it too early to test positive?
