Red Ginseng While Breastfeeding
My son has not slept more than a couple of hours at a time since he was born. We're at one year and I'm stupid. I mean it. I'm emotional, goofy, can't keep my thoughts together, anxiety (no depression), struggling with weight gain... I AM SOOO TIRED! Anyway, I read up on red ginseng and it's ability to lower cortisol and even help with the mental clarity and anxiety. Anyone use this while nursing? Is it safe for my baby? Will it affect my milk supply? Should I wait it out until I wean him? Any thoughts, comments, suggestions welcomed!
(I love nursing and am willing to wait it out- it's worth it to me. I AM a mess tho, so any ideas, help, suggestions or comments are welcomed!)
