If you're married would you move back to your hometown regardless of how your s/o felt?

I'm back home dealing with a family issue and now I'm getting so many emotions. I miss my mom my family but my husband is back in Arizona. I plan on going back because my kids are there but I want to move back home to Virginia.

It would have to be a mutual agreement for me. I wouldn’t force my husband into something he didn’t want and I wouldn’t go without him either.

I’m from NC and my husband is from OH. I met him in the town I used to work in back home bc he was in the army. Once he got out we moved to OHIO. Been here ever since. I miss my family and town all the time. Can’t really say or do much bc he has an amazing job and our baby is due in 3 weeks. He knows I miss being home but moving back would ruin our stability and everything so I just deal with it

Would be a joint decision for sure. I would never move if my husband didn’t want to. Explain why you want to and if he doesn’t want to then maybe just go on a vacation.

I'd never make him choose cuyz his family including his children r there. we've talked bout moving n he agreed but because he spoke to his oldest I think he's not going to move which is fine with me if rather him be with his children. But I just won't stay I have no family over there my kids ask to see my mom or live with her so it's a little stressful but I miss all my family

I’ve seen a friend promise a guy should be happy living in his home state, after they got married she bugged him like crazy including getting on the fooor and begging him to move back to her home state until he finally gave in. They moved and I think he at least is pretty miserable. I think it should be something both partners should want.

My DH is from Oklahoma,  and I'm from Alaska. He knew how much I missed home,  so we moved up here. If he would've wanted to stay in the states I would have gladly given up my hopes of going home if it meant keeping him. He was totally in love with Alaska after getting here. Now I'm not sure we'll ever go back south.

I’m good with never going to my hometown ever again 😂😂 my parents moved to the city that I met my boyfriend in and this is hometown. I’d much rather liver, but it’s too expensive, so when we move out eventually, idk where it’ll be.

maybe a joint decision for us. I wouldn't want to make him feel pressured to move but I'm sure that if yoire family really needs you that there wouldn't be much contest to moving, he would understand I hope.
