Possible cleft lip/cleft palate UPDATE (10/24)

At my 20 week anatomy scan, my doctor said that it looked like my little girl might have a little cleft. I’m having a 3D/4D ultrasound done next week just to confirm if she does or not, but I just wanted to ask everyone to keep my little one in your prayers and hope for good news in the next few days! ❤️

I know cleft lips are typically just a cosmetic issue and we love her either way.... but it was just very unexpected 😕 Husband and I are both healthy/have no family history, etc. Send good vibes!!

UPDATE: Had my appointment with a specialist today, baby girl definitely has a unilateral cleft lip and palate. I’m so relieved to know now. Now I’m just looking forward to her being here 😇❤️ I appreciate everyone’s kind words and prayers, I will continue to pray for those of you going through the same thing! 💕💕💕
