Has Effexor helped with anyone losing weight ? I have been on lexapro for almost 2 years and I’ve gained 50 lbs. I tried Wellbutrin and hated it because I felt like I was on speed with it. So now I’m trying Effexor and so far I like it. The lexapro makes me have chronic fatigue and I’m sure this has contributed to my weight gain. I have one week left of weening off of Lexapro. Im really hoping the Effexor will Help my anxiety and depression without the horrible side effects that lexapro gave me. (Upset stomach, nausea, fatigue, weight gain)
