Scared of a relationship

Girls, I need advice, there's this guy and I find him cute, he's super sweet and he worried a lot about me when I tend to have a problem. But I know he wants a relationship but in all honestly I'm scared to have one right now but my friends tell me to give him a chance and to try to be happy with him. But I don't know what to do because I'm scared to have a relationship at the moment 😔😔
