Mommies i have a question, how do you clean your babies uncircumcised penis?

Now before i get any “thats why you should have Circumcised, or you wouldn’t be dealing with that if you had him circumcised” well here is answer to that i chose not to do it for the simple reason that its not my body so i do not get to decide for him,once he grows up he gets to decide if he keeps it just as it is or if he wants the change meanwhile i will be in charge in taking care of it for him. I read many many articles of the benefits of leaving the foreskin on and i was not about to ruin that!

Okay well the reason why im asking how do you clean it is for the reason being that i took my child to a drs appt and apparently i been doing it wrong the whole time. The Dr was forcefully pulling his foreskin all all the way back!!! To point where his head looked like purplelishh and my son was crying in pain!!! She said this was normal! That it didnt look bad but that i had to do this 3-4 times a week.! It looked soo painful so im just wondering if thats the appropriate way of cleaning it?

Btw he is almost 3yrs old and is already potty trained so i clean him just how i know during and after his bath time everyday i just dont do it how the “Dr” showed me
