Period didn’t start today

I was due to start my period today and haven’t yet, I’m trying not to get too excited. I know the smart thing to do would be take a test. At this point I’m so nervous to because I’m scared it will be negative. We’ve been ttc to for 16 months with complications of one of my tubes being blocked. Also, a side note I had slight bleeding (light pink) just when I wiped twice last week (possible implantation bleeding?) and yesterday I had very light spotting but nothing today. Should I wait a couple more days to see if my period starts and if not than test? Another thing is my periods always start the day they’re supposed to or earlier and nothing yet. Advice anyone?
