Thrush as a sign for early pregnancy???

Question

Can someone pleaseeeee tell me if having thrush is a sign for early pregnancy. Iv read online it can be. But I really don’t know what to believe!! I’m due on my period 1st November (around 12 days time) and now have thrush! I have no idea why I have it. Only time Iv ever had it before was after taking antibiotics which I haven’t this time. 
Doctors said don’t take the oral pill if trying for a baby as it can cause miscarriage. So I havent took it...... but I need to do something about it ASAP!!

I'm currently 5/6 DPO and I've developed thrush and I'm wondering the same thing too. They say it could be due to the changes in the bodies PH with pregnancy. However I'm trying to not think about it too much as lots of things can cause thrush.
I used to get thrush literally at least once a month (I've since found out that this was caused by condoms!) so I'm an expert in treating it. I've never taken the tablet to get rid of it. 
Canestan pessary and cream (they say to use the pessary without the applicator if you may be pregnant)
OR 
natural yoghurt and apple cider vinegar put on a tampon and inserted into the vagina. 
depending on how natural you want to go with getting rid of it :) 
I've heard one woman suggest a garlic clove shoved up there but as a nurse, that kinda scares me a bit. You hear horror stories of things getting lost in there all the time! 🤣🤣

I’m in the 2ww too test in 3 days and have developed thrush and nausea fingers crossed for BFP’s
