QUESTION

So I’m 33w5d and have GD. With my first they scheduled me to be induced at 39 weeks but he came early instead. So this time around they haven’t mentioned being induced yet but I’m assuming they will at my next appointment which is Wednesday...

So my question is...if you were induced or scheduled to be induced how far along were you? My husband is deployed and they have given him 3 options for the birth.

1. Come home and basically guess when she is going to be born. He only gets 10 days so if she doesn’t come during that time then he misses the birth...

2. Skype during the birth and come home 2 days later for 10 days

3. Take the first flight home at the end of the deployment ( baby will be 4 months old by then )

With option 1 and 2 he has to pay for his own plane ticket once he gets to the states and will not get paid those 10 days (just extra facts)

So I’m thinking about asking my doctor if we can schedule me to be induced at 38 weeks ( son came at 38w2d so just in case she comes early on her own time ) that way husband can for sure be here for the birth...

I need some serious opinions 😫 I’m stressed to the max and have had no sleep in about 3 days.
